Menudo
I had a job interview today for a promotion at work, and I just got a phone call letting me know that they will be making an offer on Monday !!!!! The interview was brutal, but, all is well that ends well. This job does require about 30% travel, mostly driving travel, but, when I'm not traveling, I can work from home, which is a dream come true for me !!!!!!!! Anyway, I just had to share my good fortune, as I go off to celebrate a bit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo Hoo !!!!
darin3
Nice job, Men. I work from home, and do a lot of traveling (much of which is in a car). It's been great so far. Good luck.

SheikYerbuti
word--and even if mom is at home, it can still be pretty hard Yeah, I was just thinking if mom needs to run out for an errand, it's no longer an impossibility.

chiefjay
Mom is a teacher, so, during the summer, I'll be able to see the little one during work breaks... First off, congrats. But who will be watching the little one while you are working from home? How do you only see him during work breaks? Just curious. My point is I couldn't work from home right now because my 3 year old daughter would have a hard time understanding dads working. It may be a bit harder then you think if the little fella is there. If you have an office or something you can lock, I would suggest being in there working before he/she gets up in the morning and not letting him see you come out. Otherwise, relentless door knocking will ensue. On the other hand, if by "working" from home you mean simply being available to do actual work as the need arises, you should be golden. bushwacked
So you travel and work at home. Some promotion.... Don't be a Deby Downer. But, I will say that I think you will find out how much 30% away might really mean. I did it when I was married without the son, there is no way I'd do it with a family.
