spain
What do you do if you are walking by and your boss tells you to shut the f up? Personally, I tell him to go f himself. Reid was way way way out of line telling TO to shut up. It was unprofessional and uncalled for. Employees should not have to tolerate such abusive treatment. If Reid isnt going to show his employees respect, they shouldnt have to show him any. Respect isnt a one way street, it is a mutual thing. TO is argueably the best WR in the NFL. He has shed blood, sweat, and tears for that organization. He came back for a Superbowl game that NOBODY thought he could get back for. And this is how they are going to treat him? Reid needs to apologize to TO immediately.

Teacon
"...and he told me to shut up, and I told him, 'I'm a man- you can't talk to me like that.' And I told him to shup up". Quote-freaking-unquote as heard by my own two ears on PTI..... Yea TO way to be a MAN.....simply revert back to that old 3rd grade playground strategy to prove your manhood....."NO- YOUUU shut up!"....."No he didn't- YOU SHUT UP" Oh, and Espana... still fanning the flames, eh? MikesVikes
Yea, I agree. TO is probably making tons of more money than Reid, albeit not nearly enough. Who does that coach think he is?

Deacon Bill
I guess it depends on what T.O. was saying when Reid told him to shut up. Was it "get out ma' grille?" or "would you please pass the Grey Poupon?". Or maybe Reid was asking T.O. something outlandish like, "hey, why don't you come practice with your team?" T.O. does deserve more money, but nobody forced him to sign on the dotted line. JMO.

The eagles rescued him from Kyle Boller heckhole -- after he begged them to do so ... They made him the third highest paid reciever (as per ESPN's expert today) just behind Harrison and Moss at 49mill over 7 years -- his rightful spot. Does TOad appreciate that? Nope. He refuses to honor his commitment, hurts his team, dis'es his teammates? Let him sit the bench for a year.
AtomicCEO
His name is Terrell Owens... not Terrell Reid! Seriously. Why don't any of these coaches treat T.O. like an adult?
rattsass
Terrell IS a victim here. We all know by now that Terrell is "special", and this money grubbing agent is merely manipulating this poor lad, just so he can buy a 10th Mercedes and a 7th beach house. Poor poor, Terrell. He is just a tool and doesn't even see it.
Chief
Spain you're doing more fishing over T.O. than you are trying to bait sheep. You ok? Run out of viagra? By the way, I understand you now wish to become a Lions fan, but just afraid to admit it. It's ok, we'll let ya join our ranks. As the Lions will be better than ur Titans, I for one will understand you wanting to be a late bandwagon jumper.

hooknladder
Agreed, Spain. T.O. is woefully underpaid when it comes to guarenteed money. He's not just one of the top recievers...,but one of the top players.-like him or not.
kpholmes
Be all of this as it may, he did sign the contract last year and as an NFL Player, should honor that. Its pretty rediclous to be one year into a seven year contract, that he was excited about when he got, and then decide you want more money, and you're going to throw a fit about it. I'm not saying Reid wasn't in the wrong as well, but I'm sure he is tired of the situation too. He's the third highest paid reciever, he plays that well. Not everyone can be the highest paid in their position. Let me know if I'm missing anything here, thats just how I've interpreted everything, kyle.
