When I got laid off back in November, the first thing they did was lock us out of the computers and they were going to give us our 2 weeks severance.

Then they realized that somebody had to transfer our patients to other agencies.

Had to work the last two weeks instead of sitting at home. :D

My buddy got locked out a week before he was to be rif'd. He found out that day that was the reason.

Oops, IT had some splaining to do.

I really hope this didn't end badly, but I'm guessing that's not the case. I suspect some late night posts from the local Starbucks may be on tap.

He probably left the huddle up on his 'puter. After escorting him out, his boss probably sat down, read this thread, and is now surfing the Huddle.

Ok, then he's seriously F'ed. :D

I hope this all ends well for you Cliaz! I hate to see people make life changing decisions when they're angry.

I've seen more than one co-worker quit trying to prove a point, just to be totally forgotten in a month. Don't let em get the best of you my friend!

Ok, now I'm worried about Cliaz. He's either in jail or dead.

I wouldn't go that far. Worst case... he quit and had to pack up and leave. Now he's probably at home telling his wife. I seriously doubt he'd jump on the computer once he got home to tell everyone.

Huddlers, meet Cliaz's former boss, Quagmire. Welcome to the huddle, Quags. Now what did you do with Cliaz??

I know he's been pissed off at his company for quite some time now. I guess this just brought it all to a head. Bummer.
