Big F'n Dave
I've got a cousin, 25 or 26, married with two kids who was just diagnosed with lung cancer. He had a cancerous growth in his mouth removed just before Katrina (he lives on NO's Northshore) and his chemo schedule got severely screwed up. Despite the delays, his doctors felt his prognosis was really good. Had a couple of bouts of what they thought was pneumonia this winter and they discovered the tumors last week. He's a fantastic kid. A good Christian who (along with his brother) was raised by his mom. His father, an Army helicopter pilot, died in a crash when he was like six months old. Everyone in the family is taking it really hard. Your thoughts and prayers for my cousin and his family would be greatly appreciated.
