A very good golf story

Played golf today. We come upon a 499 yard par five. Hit driver to the left side of the fairway, leaving me about 225 to the pin. Take my trusty 3 iron and hit it true. Takes one bounce on the fringe and rolls straight. At this point the pin is in a valley and I cannot see the hole. But I knew I was close.

As we drive up to the hole, I tell my playing partner, " There's a good chance I'm close and putting for eagle. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm in the hole".

Of course he laughs and says F'off. We pull up to the side of the green, and we all go to look for our balls. Mine is NOT on the green. I look long just in case It rolled off the back of the green. It's not there. So the next step is: LOOK IN THE CUP!!!

And guess what: there she is. In the hole. An albatross. A double eagle. There was much rejoicing.

:D:D:wacko:

Then I got drunk.

What a great day!!!

Congratulations! Thats awesome! :D

I struggled my way around today. 14 birdie putts and I could only get 2 to drop.

:D

That is not struggling your way around. We should golf sometime and I will show you how it's done

Edit: struggling your way around, that is
