whoopazz Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 Well, my wife's stepfather lost his battle with cancer recently What started as melanoma on his face and ears quickly spread through his body and took him down. Terrible disease. Whats worse, we went to upstate NY for the services this weekend and while there, her father had a major heart episode making the weekend even tougher. We barely had time to grieve the stepfather and this happens. He's had a couple stints put in near his heart and they keep clogging up with scar tissue. Today, they inserted a "medicated stint" whatever that is, that will hopefully reduce the scar tissue buildup. If not, they will perform open heart in the near future. Ugh...
