BigMikeinNY
A, B, and C go out drinking.... A drinks waaaaay too much all night. When the bill comes at 2am, A is still so drunk that he says that himself will pay for the $400 tab. The tab was created by A, B, and C together. B and C let him pay for the tab........... When A wakes up in the morning, he wants to know why the heck there is a $400 bar bill on the credit card. A talks to B and C to see what the heck happened, and they tell A the above. A doesn't remember a thing You be the judge - What should happen?

whomper
B and C split it with A but give him some heat for it.
darin3
Assuming you are all buddies, you split the bill 3 ways. Never know when YOU will be "Guy A".
godtomsatan
A needs to turn his blackout brown.
wiegie
How about this: A pays $200, B & C each pay $100--as it is clear that "A" racked up more than his fair share of the bill.
untateve
you dance, you pay the fiddler. apparently 'A' drinks, he pays the bill. but if I were 'B' or 'C', I'd pay 1/3 to 'A' after giving him much fecal matter.
spain
A picked up the tab. He should pay it. What is the issue?

Puddy
A shouldn't expect B and C to pay, but them knowing his state of mind at the time, it wouldn't be a bad idea to split it up.
thecerwin
What is A going to do for B & C if they let him off the hook? A is an Indian giver.
nuke'em ttg
split it....but A pays more cause he racked up more............i hate it when a guy is smoked and buying rounds and all the leaches come out of the woodwork and take advantage....only a low life would bail on paying his share........... Randall
A shouldn't expect B and C to pay, but them knowing his state of mind at the time, it wouldn't be a bad idea to split it up. I agree. He shouldn't expect them to do it, but if they are friends it would be the fair thing to do.

I like this idea the best. A should also consider the extra $100 a penalty for being a stupid a*s drunk.

Piranha
He offered to pay it, drunk or not. Things like this have happened to me before, and guy A, blackout or not, should know better than to ask for the money. Guys B & C can just claim broke. Guy A takes it on the chin and learns his lesson.

Pitbull739
A pays and then kicks himself in the beanbag next time he gets that bright idea.
TDFFFreak
While A should be willing to pay the tab, assuming B and C are good friends of A, they should offer to contribute some amount to help out. It's up to A to accept or decline.
