Egret
Heineken Heineken gets a bad rap. I've been drinking that this summer. Since I usually only drink one or two beers at a time, it's a good one for me. If I only had one beer, it would have to be Newcastle. I never get sick of it, and I always love it. On tap or out of the bottle, it's always great.

Front Row
Heineken gets a bad rap. I've been drinking that this summer. On tap or out of the bottle, it's always great. The one bad thing about heineken is if it gets warm, after being cold, and then cold again it will get a skunky smell/ flavor. I don't let them get warm. And don't buy it if the beer is displayed in a store window, learned this firsthand ; beer in the sunshine ... duh. Chief Dick
Blvd Wheat  That's a fine beer, but I gotta say I like the Pale Ale better.  But still, a GREAT beer.
muck
Boulevard Brewery = soon to be the largest brewer headquartered in Missouri  .....   as for 'only one beer for the rest of my life' ... a decade ago I would have said Shiner Bock, but something has changed (not sure what) and it's just not as good anymore ...  Blue Moon, Guinness and Boulevard Wheat would be close to the top.  I'll prolly have to try some others that have been suggested before I make a final decision. bushwacked
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a great choice, I'd probably go with Dechutes Mirror Pond Pale.

Kid Cid
It's gotta be something that you never tire of. It's a go to beer right now, you can drink it if it's hot or cold outside, you can drink it if IT'S hot or cold. That only really leaves a small percentage out of the many beeers I enjoy that fit the bill. Many are just too specialized. In this case though, it's a pretty easy choice. Â Bass Ale

Caveman_Nick
Â It would have to be something on the lighter side (not a light beer.....I mean hat a stout or porter is less situationally versatile than something with a "lighter" colored grain). Â Maybe Sam Adams White Ale.

wirehairman
I enjoy a lot of the beers mentioned and spend most a considerable amount of time in the local micros, but if I had to pick just one to cover everything from a backyard bbq to camping/hunting/fishing trips to a night out for the rest of my life, I'd have to go back to my roots and good ole Bud Light.
