MikesVikes
Yet she said the day was "bittersweet" because the family would be able to donate his organs. After reading this line, it shows how much character this family has. It isn't easy to think of others during your time of grief.
Jackass
Very sad story. A friend of mine is a firefighter and he has told me many times how often candles can start fires. I don't think people realize how dangerous it can be to leave a candle burning.

PSULions
Sorry to hear this sad news. It makes you appreciate life and want to live it to its fullest. One of our best friends lost their 12 year old nephew from cancer about a month ago. He was diagnosed in December and was gone by April, as he didn't quite make it to his 13th birthday. With a dad with four kids, it makes me very sad when someone loses a child. It makes you thankful for health and everyday that you get to be with them as it can end in a split second from a car accident, fire, etc. Edited May 27, 2009 by PSULions
