I've taken a "real" test 2X, and scored 147 and 144, and was told valid tests wouldn't vary more than 10 points at the time. This was when I was a kid, and I can remember not only a written portion, but a couple things where I had to make blocks into a shape and it seems there was other stuff too. I took a real ltest when I was younger, could have joined Mensa, but thought that if I needed to join a group of elitest snobs in order to look down upon those around me, I think I'd rather have a lower number.
