Why take that?  NY has backed themselves into a corner.  Bleed em' dry.

This was done days ago, I hope they sent less then a 2nd to allow green bay to walk away from this.  Anything that they get is better than keeping him on the roster.

I'm curious what Green Bay gets for him. A 2nd round pick?

I thought the trade details were already worked out? This was a "nearly done deal" a day or two ago, they were just waiting for graybeard to make a decision on if he'll accept a trade to the Jets.

Did they sign OBJ? If not his demands have not been met. So he's only "intending" to be a Jet.

These reports frequently aren't accurate but if this one is to be believed it sounds as if the Packers can take their sweet time, which would surprise me some as I don't know they are in a great negotiating position. I am not sure people are lining up to pay 59 M for a QB that may not be as good as he once was, seems diva-ish, could retire any time after this year, etc etc.

That's just it though, one team is lined up and has already pushed a lot of cookies into the basket. If they don't walk away with the him what are they going to do?  Go back to Zach Wilson?  I'm sure he can get dead money Lazard the ball right?
