His father in law was also rushed to the hospital yesterday unexpectedly with severe nausia and dizziness. I would keep Ted on your taxi squad as he is a fiesty SOB. (TBone enters, with a bandage on his hip, walking with crutches) TBone: Mr. Whomper-- Whomper (shocked): Ahhh, Ahhh! Ah, ah ah! Is it you? TBone: Yeah, it's me sir. It's been a harrowing few days. After the car accident, I crawled into a ditch and managed to survive on grubs and puddle water, until a kindly old gentleman picked me up. Whomper: Grubs, huh? Gotta admit, I never tasted one of those. TBone: Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found a way for us to get Jeter and Rodriguez, and we wouldn't have to give up that much. Whomper: Well, don't tell it to me TBone, tell it to the new Assistant to the General Manager. TBone: I didn't get the job? Whomper: Well, once you were dead, we couldn't just sit on our hands. We had to make a move... (Dejected, TBone turns to leave, no longer walking with the crutches, and takes the bandage off his hip) Whomper: But, you still have your old job. Of course, we'll have to dock you for the time you missed. We're running a ball club here. If I give special treatment to you, everyone will want it. Next thing you know its chaos! And I can tell you this, chaos does not work for the Baltimore Orioles! Not as long as I'm running the show!
