DMD
Let's hope he gets back to previous form. DK Metcalf gotta be hating this.
League_Champion
I know a lot of people will disagree but it is the right move. They had to maximize his value while he still had some. Time to reload.
DMD
Can we start calling him Russell Not-Rodgers?
Finn5033
Wow Denver is instantly a contender. Those AFC west division games are going to be fun to watch. I’m going to love having Javonte Williams as a keeper assuming Gordon doesn’t return. Biggest question is going to be wich one of their receivers is going to become the stud? League_Champion
#broncos will also send DL Shelby Harris to Seattle as well per source
League_Champion
@JayGlazer The trade is for three players (one being Drew Lock) and two first rounders and two second rounders and a fifth for Russell Wilson and a fourth
Riffraff
Mahomes, Herbert, Wilson, and Carr in the division. Pretty good, but it's no Ryan, Taysom, Newton/Darnold, and Trask Edited March 8, 2022 by Riffraff

Could be Fant, or one of the WR? I’d be surprised if it’s Javonte since Gordon is a free agent
rajncajn
Calling it now, both sides will end up disappointed with this deal. Seattle is expecting a Cowboys dealing Hershel Walker type success story and it's not going to happen. The Broncos on the other hand are dealing any chance of keeping or building a supporting cast for Wilson.

Probably, but today it makes sense for both sides.
League_Champion
Seahawks Receive: 1st Round Pick 1st Round Pick 2nd Round Pick 2nd Round Pick 5th Round Pick Drew Lock Shelby Harris Noah Fant Broncos Receive: Russell Wilson 4th Round Pick

That's a lot of value for Wilson.
League_Champion
I think the Seahawks made out like bandits. Next year is supposed to be a much stronger QB class. I'd flip this year's picks over and load up for next season.
darin3
Move Albert O up in your TE rankings. Nice sleeper TE now.

A Wilson/Fant combo would of been interesting.

darin3
Word on the street over the past couple of months is they simply liked Albert O more than Fant. Fant had kinda reached a plateau while Albert O flashed way more upside. So it makes total sense that the Broncos were fine including Fant in this deal. Glad I held on to Sutton. Shorttynaz
I have no dog in the fight, but I think the Seahawks fleeced Denver on this one. The Broncos gave up a TON!! But their entire receiving corp take a drastic jump up the ranks.
stevegrab
Hoping for good things for Wilson in DEN this upcoming season. That's a lot of value for him, and they send him out of their division and even out of the conference. I'm assuming this much info leaking out means that he has approved the trade. Docniner
Wow, nice move Denver. Guess this will bump up Jeudy and Sutton's stock. Javonte Williams will benefit too.
League_Champion
This is one of those trades where I think both sides did well. Denver finally got their QB and Seattle walks away with a haul. It was now or never for Seattle to maximize his value.
Big John
Reminds me of the infamous 1970s Packers trade for John Hadl who was over the hill. Hopefully Wilson still at his level.
