Rough way to end the year / start the year

My beloved grandfather ... 92yrs old ... is probably going to be dying soon. Pneumonia in both lungs. Losing color in his extremeties. Not coherent. If he dies, it will be a blessing ... it is time. Regardless of whether or not everyone is ready for this, my grandmother is unconsolable. Hard to blame her for being this way when facing the prospect of losing her best friend after nearly 70 years of marriage.

That and my wife miscarried our baby yesterday evening.

VERY sorry to hear it on both ends; it's never good to lose a grandparent, but at 92 years, he's had a good run.

My deepest condolences on the loss of you baby.

Dang muck.

Continued prayers to you and your family. Not sure if this your dad's pop, but if it is, make sure to tell him we are praying for him.

And make sure Mrs. Muck knows we are thinking about her as well.

...yeah, its my dad's dad... and I will let him know.

And, yes I've told her ... thank you for your friendship.

Other than my wife and that mutant idiot piece o' trash here known as "Rams Fan" my grandpa was my best friend. I lost him this summer about 2 weeks after my daughter was born. He was 93 or 94 I can't remember but he had a great run as did your grandpa. He and my grandma practically raised me but I did as you do now realize that the time has come for him to go home. It broke my heart when he passed but I do know he is in a far better place and it gives me strength to know I will be seeing him soon. I have no idea what to say about the miscarriage other than the baby will soon be hanging out with it's great grandpa. There are many worse things than being in heaven.

You guys are in our prayers.
