Steve-o... hey bud, I can't believe I somehow missed this thread in my daily perusing of the TG topics.... like a few have said here, I'm not the most religious of men, but I'm certainly spiritual and thus am calling on whatever higher power governs our lives to bring you strength... you're one of my favorites here at The Huddle and I can't wait to see you in Vegas (or sooner). Luckily the Doctors are pretty much miracle workers on the heart nowadays. It's amazing the things they can do with little or no pain. The medication they put you on afterwards is far worse than the actual stent placements IMO. But you probably already know that. Thoughts and prayers your way! Â You shouldn't be having chest pains walking 50 yards. My last stent was to fix an 80% blockage on the front main artery and I wasn't having any chest pains. peepinmofo Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 I'm going in tomorrow for a cardiac angiogram and possible stent placements in my coronary arteries. I've had 5 placed in 2006 already, but lately I've been having chest pain just walking back and forth between my car and office (about 50 yards). I can't go on with the pain at this level. It limits me too much, and I run a greater risk of having an actual heart attack in the near future. If they can't open up my arteries with stents, then I'll have to have open-heart surgery.  I would appreciate all the prayers you can send my way because I happen to believe that prayer works.  I'll give an update as soon as I can.     Make no mistake......getting old is a BITCH!!!!  Wow dude.
