rocknrobn26 Posted August 15, 2009 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Found out 2 days ago a good friend/co-worker's husband passed away(58yo). Then a co-worker died, he was late 80's. But the one that really kicked me in the gut was Billy! (Died Thursday...Midnight) Bill was a great friend of mine since freshman year of HS 1963. I stood up to his wedding, we remained close friends for over 45 years. In the 60's we'd cruise the Blvd in his '64-65 Comet convertible. It was souped up, sounded cool, we'd drag up and down Ogden Ave. in Berwyn every Friday/Saturday night, and he still had it till the day he died. Bill was just the sweetest guy you'd ever have the privilege of knowing.. I just want to toast Bill..... God bless you my very good friend!
