Thews40 Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 I found out an hour ago that the results are in on the search for a bone marrow donor for my daughter. My son wasn’t a match, so they search the database and found the top 6 potential matches. Of those, there’s two… count em’ two living humans that are perfect matches. She’ll go in for a marrow transplant in about 4 weeks, and potentially be cured in three months. With all that’s going on in insanity land, this was an answered prayer. It's so hard for her, but she has so many friends and family I'm sure it will go fast. Thanks again for the prayers... it's not over, but it's all been pretty much best case so far.
