Azazello1313 Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 my stepdad, Frank Scherer, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly yesterday morning of a heart attack. he was at home, cursing the weather because it made him cancel his tee time. he was not an old man, only 59. part of me wants to sit here and write a novel about this man and what he did for me. he married my mom when I was three, and treated me like a son my whole life. no, that is wrong, he didn't treat me like anything, he loved me and treated me AS a son. The really cool people in your life are so much more than missed when they're gone... they were just really cool people that you'll miss because they were really cool... few and far between.
